2 weeks!

Kaleb is 2 weeks old now (ok, 2 and a half) and growing every day. Here is a picture of him on his first walk around the neighborhood. We've found that he loves riding in the stroller and in the car if nothing else calms him down.Aunt Mallory, Uncle Timothy, and Aunt Ellie came to visit on Sunday before Christmas. They're all very excited about the new addition to the family.

Here is Kaleb taking his first road trip on Christmas Eve. Again, he loves the car. He slept pretty much the whole way there and back.

1 WEEK!

It has been a wild and crazy first week, but we are all doing fine. Kaleb has had a lot of visitors and we appreciate everyones love and support.

Kaleb Allen Bernat

Hey Everyone! Kaleb Allen Bernat made it into this world on Thursday December 13, 2007 weighing in at 9lbs. 11 ounces measuring 21 inches long. Things did not go as planned, but what does in this world, we had to do an emergency c-section. Mom and Kaleb are doing great! Please keep them in your prayers!

Time's Up!

We've given this boy a fair chance at coming out on his own and his time is up! Tonight's the night we go into the hospital for an induction. We thought we had everything planned out, but this goes to show you who's boss. We're expecting him to arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon, but as soon as we are able we will let you know how everything turns out. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers the next few days!

41 WEEKS!!!

Due Date???

No, we didn't forget to let you know about our baby boy! He's still not here! Today is the official due date, and no sign of him yet. We are very ready at this point, especially Mom! I guess he's just happy where he is and will come out when he's ready. It wouldn't be so bad if everyone we knew that was expecting, didn't already have their babies! Well, any day now! We'll let everyone know as soon as possible!

More Belly Pics

Now, here I am today at 38 weeks. Even bigger than last week, and he's still not due for two more weeks. I'm not sure if I can wait that long, but it's not up to me!

Update

Alright, I know it's been awhile since we've posted anything, but I think I have a pretty good excuse. This little boy inside me is wearing me out! Once I make it through the day at work, I come home to rest. Anyway, I'll try to make up for it now. Here is a picture of Kevin and I at Stacy's wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was beautiful and we had a lot of fun.
On November 5th, the Special Education Department at school threw me a baby shower. This is the only picture I have from the shower since I was the one opening all the gifts. Mom's got the rest of them so I'll post more later when I get them. The cake was soo cute that we didn't want to cut it.

After our last baby shower, we were able to put the finishing touches on the baby's room. You can see some of it below, but you really need to see it in person to get the whole effect.

And finally, poor Mav was kicked outside. :( Here's a picture of daddy spending some time with the poor little baby in his new home. We've got him all set up and he seems to be adjusting well. I think it was harder for us than him!

Aggieland Once Again...

Kevin and I went to visit Aggieland again last weekend and watch our football team get run over by Kansas. It wasn't a great game, but we did have good seats and had a great time seeing lots of friends. I think baby enjoyed it too. Here's a picture of the three of us at 35 weeks! :)

30 Weeks!!!

We're already 30 weeks along and can't believe it's gone by so fast. This baby boys gonna be here before you know it. Here's a belly shot we took on Sunday evening.

Aggie Football

For his birthday, Kevin decided he wanted to go see the Aggies play at Kyle field. We went to the game against Fresno State on Saturday, Sept. 8th. It wasn't a pretty game, but we did end up winning in triple overtime! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Our Second Anniversary

I know it's been awhile, so here it goes. I'll try to make this post a good one to make up for lost time. Kevin and I just got back from Austin this weekend celebrating our second anniversary. We stayed three nights at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin. On Saturday we got to spend some time with our friends Zach, Stacy, Easton (above) and Zaab. It was an awesome day and great to see everyone after such a long time.

Here is a picture of us on Sunday at Barton Springs. It's a spring fed swimming pool that was FREEZING! It really was unbearable. I think we each jumped in twice, then jumped right back out again in order to breathe.





Sunday night we went out to eat dinner at Eddie V's Seafood Grill. The food was delicious. We ate shrimp, lobster, steak, and crab. And apple cobbler for dessert! After dinner we took a carriage ride down to the Capitol and back through the Warehouse District.


And last but not least...here's the belly shot that everyone is asking for. This is me at 27 weeks! He's kicking more than ever! I just watch him roll across my belly every day.

Our Baby Boy

On July 25th, we went for an ultrasound to check on the baby. As you can see, we definitly confirmed it is a little boy. He weighed 14 ounces and everything looked great. He's healthy and kicking around more and more every day. We can't wait to meet him and see his little face.

Gruene Hall
