Lake Granbury!

Last weekend we took Kaleb up to Granbury to visit the lake for the first time. Here he is playing with his friend Sam at the lake house. He loves other kids!Mommy and Kaleb tubing!!! (on the dock of course)

Then Kaleb decided to try it himself...

Here he is sitting in his boat. He didn't like wearing the life jacket until we put him in the boat. He liked riding the waves (it was a little windy out there).
He throughly enjoyed his lake experience until Daddy gave him a little dip in the water. Too cold for Kaleb!!! So we bundled him up in a towel and just watched the water from then on. Overall I think he enjoyed the day! He'll like it even more when the water warms up a bit.

Maverick finally decided to play with Kaleb. Kaleb's been reaching out for Maverick for a couple of weeks, but he hasn't been quick enough to touch him before Mav gets away.

Kaleb's 5 Months Old!

I can't believe it's already been 5 months! Here are a few pictures of Kaleb the past few weeks. Here he is hanging out with Maverick in the back yard.

I put him down on his back in the middle of his play gym, went to make his breakfast, and came back to this...he's rolling over all the time now and he loves it. After he rolls over, he always looks to see if you were watching and gives this big smile. He's so proud!

Friday morning this is what I walked into... I guess he decided he liked sleeping on his belly. (And look how he pulled those knees under him. I'm afraid he'll be crawling very soon!)

And my favorite of all... I finally got a picture of those two front teeth!

Kaleb's trip to Galveston...

Today we all loaded up in the car and took a short drive down to Galveston for the day. The weather was perfect. We got to enjoy some great seafood and feed the seagulls. Kaleb did very well, as you can see, he is sitting up in his high chair now and having fun riding in his stroller weaving trough all the shops along The Strand.
