Ok, we've been working on this for awhile and finally got a video of Kaleb saying "thank you". He will sometimes even say it on his own! It's so cute, we laugh every time he says it!

Asleep at the wheel...
The other day we were coming back from Church and lunch, our poor baby couldn't keep his eyes open even though he tried.
Bedtime!
When this boy is ready for bed, he's ready for bed! Now! Not 5 minutes from now; not 5 seconds from now! He means right now! So this was the sudden pitiful face and cry for "milk"...
I said hold on and he got a little more upset...
then the unhappiness turns into anger as he stomps his feet and his face turns red...
and then were back to the pitiful, pleading for milk, face...
Give the boy a glass of milk and his blankie ("gankie") and he's done for! He will let us hold him until he's through with his milk, maybe read a book or two, then just tell us "bed". Thats it for Kaleb! He's down for the night!
Hope it is this easy forever!

100th Post! Frio River Vacation!
UPDATED with a couple of new pictures!
Welcome to my 100th post! Warning! This could be very long and contain a lot of pictures!
On Saturday, June 6th, we loaded up the truck with all you can imagine and more, and headed out to Concan, TX to vacation on the Frio River. On the drive over, we stopped at Bucky's and picked up some beef jerky. Kaleb loved his first taste of beef jerky. Of course he will eat anything that is considered meat.
When we arrived at our campsite, Kaleb helped Dada set up the canopy.
And after all that work, who wouldn't need a break!
Once we settled in, we took Kaleb down to check out the river.
He was very curious and couldn't figure out where we were or what we were doing!
We went shopping that night and got settled into the RV. Here's Kaleb eatin his nana for breakfast the next morning preparing for a long day on the river.
His first dip into the Frio River!
It actually wasn't that cold this year. The water was very low, so we were lucky to be staying near the dam which is more like a swimming hole, even when the river's barely running. Here's Kaleb sitting on the dam.

After taking his nap, Kaleb put his life jacket on and told us it was time for some more swimming!

On Wednesday we took Kaleb on a tube trip down the river to Happy Hollow! Here he is at the beginning of his first float down the river!

Kaleb floating all by himself like a big boy! This didn't happen much at all. He spent most of the trip right on top of Mama! Had a blast, but didn't want to let go just in case!
During the heat of the day we tried to keep Kaleb out of the sun as much as possible. Here he is watching a "moogie" (movie)! "Wheels" (Wheels on the Bus) is his favorite!
And what could be better than ice cream on a hot summer day! He was a mess when it was all over!

We headed back up to Granbury last weekend for Uncle Kasey and Katie's baby shower. Kaleb started out the weekend teaching Grandpa a thing or two about golfing...
