Aren't I Getting BIG?

Not a lot has been going on around our house lately, but I thought I'd share with you anyway. Kaleb has been as active as ever. He rolls both ways, creeps, and pivots in circles on his belly. He can pretty much get around our living room if he really wants something. His newest thing lately has been screaming. It's a really high pitched, happy squeal. I love to hear it! He's also sitting up very well now.
We've been experimenting with new foods also. We started him off with peas. After several unsuccessful attempts at that, we decided to try sweet potatoes. He loves them! Once they were all gone we decided to try green beans. Again, he didn't like them at all. I did go get more sweet potatoes for him today, but I'm not giving up that easily. For dinner, he had sweet potatoes with a few bites of green beans snuck in there as well.

Frio River Trip

Last week we spent some time outdoors with Kaleb at the Frio River. We had a blast. He enjoyed the great weather and cool running water. Thanks to the Zach, Stacy and Easton for stopping bye to hang out with us for a while.

Halfway There!

Kaleb turned 6 months old yesterday. It's hard to believe that he's only been around six months. I'm not sure I remember what life was like without him. (ok, i do remember the days of staying out late and sleeping in the next morning...) But those days are over and he's worth every second of it. Here are a few pictures of him celebrating his half-birthday yesterday.

After camping all week long and driving back all day, we wanted a good dinner so we went to Pappasitos. Kaleb sat in his highchair the entire time we were there in a daze. He never said one word! That's not like him at all. I think the lack of sleep all week long finally caught up to him. At one point, he just started laying his head on the table...
Our baby boy is growing up...
